How do I find the value of a comic book?
I have a bunch of comic books from a long time ago and I was wondering what site I can use to find out their value. There must be a website that many comic book shops refer to in order to set their prices. Anyone know any sites or something? I don’t want to visit a local comic shop please.
You should look up completed listings on ebay and find the comics you have and see what people ACTUALLY paid for them, not what some guidebook says they’re worth.
Forbidden Planet Comic Shop
This place is AMAZING! It would take me at least another week to fully explore this place to my hearts desire and another few hundred pounds spending money.

I want to open my own comic book shop. What kind of music should I sell?
Should I give away blank compact discs instead of selling real compact discs and try to fool people into giving away their comics by the box to me?
Are you opening a comic store or a music store?
You should sell whatever comics or music you think will sell the best or that you think your customers will like the best. I would suggest trying different comics and/or music to find out about the different kinds yourself if you haven’t already.
If you want to sell music in a comic store I would think that you should sell music that was related to comics or anime, like soundtracks from anime cartoons or movies based on comic books, or music by bands that would appeal to fans of anime and/or comic books.
If you try to trick people into trading you their comics for blank CDs your store is gonna get a LOT of complaints from the people who got ripped off, and your store is gonna develop a bad reputation, so I wouldn’t suggest trying to fool people like that cause you WILL be found out.
Who would I need to do to start a Comic Shop?
Who would I need to contact? Who makes the special boxes you put comics in? Do people sell mass amounts of comic books at a discounted price or do you pay full value?
OOOPs I mean’t to say What woul I need to do to start a comic shop.
I knew a guy who had a paper shop! "It blew away"

Your local comic shop?
Do you like them? Are they helpful or annoying?
The only one that is local to me is pretty bad. The owner gets in your face and tries to sell you on every comic known to man kind. And the helper is really nice but he never knows when the new comics are coming out and won’t be put out by trying to find or order things for you. Just today I was telling him how 2 new ones are coming out on Wednesday that I would be back to get, and he is like? I know one of them is but the other isn’t. Well, sorry dude it says it right online that it is being released in 2 days. And I know he has been wrong about this in the past….
It sucks for me around here.
How about your shop?
who gave the thumbs down? no need for it. that g answer guy is a weirdo.
It’s terrible. A little hole-in-the-wall kind of place. The owner just sits there and stares at you, and barely talks. I don’t think there’s anyone else working there at all.
The one that’s an hour away from here is great. the owner and the people that work there are all really funny and helpful and nice. The stuff in the store is awesome too, I usually spend $50 when I’m there. It’s also a bright little place on a main road. I go there whenever I can ^_^
i saw this girl working in a comic shop, and i just wanna know if i interpreted those signs right or not?
i was in a comic shop and there was this girl (i’m not sure but i think she’s my age…16 or 17), well, she first came up to me and asked me if i was looking for something specific and i asked her about something and so on. then I said thank you and she smiled, and then when I went to the cash desk, when I was leaving I said good bye and looked at her, and she smiled back. And on my way out I looked back and she was looking at me.
I kinda started to like her, so I went to the comic shop the next day again, and saw her, but…she just walked passed me and didn’t say a word.
So I just wanted to know, what was that all about the other day, because I just can’t figure it out myself.
She was being friendly. If u really wanna know if she likes u ask her if she wants to go to the movies with u and a couple other friends. Bring friends! If she’s interested in u she’ll say yes.
