I am trying to start a comic book store, should I first secure financing before finding a location?


Well, if you want financing you better have a business plan, got one of those yet?

Location is usually critical for a retail store, but the cool thing about a comic store is you can possibly have a very loyal audience who will go out of their way to find you. But it’s better if you make it easy.

Be sure to spend more time and money on "how will I get customers in the door, and how many do I need to stay in business" than on distractions like shelves and decor and logo’s.
