Music Video DC Comics Live Action Trinity (6min)
Music video montage I did back in 2001. Live-action incarnations of DC comics‘ Holy Trinity (as depicted by Christopher Reeve, Lynda Carter, and Micheal Keaton) set to Bonnie Tyler’s “Holding Out for a Hero.”
It’s a good effort, but ultimately falls short of my original vision. As my source material was limited, it’s a perfect example of using what you have instead of with what you need. And what I needed was all of the Superman movies, all of the Batman movies, and all of the Wonder Woman episodes. And all in beautiful digital video. What I had was a few VHS tapes.
So, I’ve been meaning to come back to this little montage–now that all the things I need are readily available. It would be easy to make my YouTube debut with the new-improved version and simply not share this 2001 effort at all. But I offer it as a preview of coming attractions. Think of it as an early work print. Who knows, perhaps your comments (if any) will inspire some ideas.
